10 Months Old

Well I'm now 10 months old and I finally got my first tooth this past week with a 2nd quickly following. Growing up is hard to do!

While the game ended up being a disappointment, we had lots of fun leading up to it. McKayla tailgated, cheered, kissed and snacked prior to falling asleep in the 2nd 1/2.

White Rock Marathon - December 14, 2008

We had a wonderful time participating in the White Rock Relay. Our team "The Comeback Kids" finished in 4 hours 38 minutes and 24 seconds with an average pace of 10:38.

Our amazing team consisted of our Team Captain and Driver "Jason" and our very own Cheerleader "McKayla" that assisted us with getting to each and every Relay Checkpoint. (Not an easy task)

It was wonderful to see our amazing cousin Amy - who ran 1 of her miles at an amazing time of 6 1/2 minutes! Way to Go Amy!

Brandon and Laura both did awesome! Laura got us off to a great start and Brandon ran an extra mile for the team to catch up with one of our other runners!

I "recruited" Phillip and told him this would be a life-changing experience. I think he may be a future White Rock Marathoner for life!

And the Tradition continued with our "Celebration" lunch at St. Petes having cheeseburgers.

McKayla's 1st Football Game

McKayla enjoyed the annual showdown between Texas and Texas A&M. She cheered for both teams and had a great time despite the Aggie loss!

9 Month Check-Up

McKayla went in on Friday, November 21st to see Dr. George Monroe for her 9 month check-up. She is doing wonderful and is weighing in at 16.5 lbs and 27 inches long. She is growing up on us. Her favorite activities now include waving bye bye, playing high five, playing Indian (bouncing her hand to make that aww aww noise) and chasing Tig and Tink. She will be walking soon, since she is already "cruising" very well and is able to stand up and push her roll toys. Her favorite new foods include, grated cheese, crackers, fresh strawberries and fig newtons. She loves to sample new things off of mommy and daddy's plate anytime she gets a chance.

Dallas Morning News Day at Six Flags

McKayla loved her first trip to Six Flags. She was completely infatuated with Wonder Woman.
