Cabo 2010 - Dolphin Encounter

We spent 7 fun filled days in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. It was a wonderful family vacation and the Dolphin Encounter was certainly the highlight of the trip for McKayla and something none of us will forget. We think McKayla may be a future marine biologist in the making : )

September 24, 2010 Primrose Parade of Cultures

The Annual Parade of Cultures was held at Primrose School of Rowlett. McKayla's class represented Mexico.

September 2010 - Grandparents Day

McKayla's Nana and Mimi joined her at school for Grandparents Day!

Then we headed to lunch and to Build a Bear! McKayla came home with 2 new babies Katie Kittie and Frilly Frog. It was a great day! : )

August 2010 - End of Summer Bash

We had a wonderful time at the end of Summer bash! It was complete with a Bumble Bee Balloon and matching cupcake cake! The kids had a blast playing in the pool, blowing bubbles and finished out the fun day feeding the ducks! We are already looking forward to next Summer!

July 2010 - Viva Las Vegas

We had a fun filled few days in Las Vegas. McKayla loved flying on the airplane (it was her first time to have her very own seat) and it sure was nice having all that extra room :) She was a great traveler and loved all the excitment of the Vegas lights and sounds. The only time she got upset was when headed to the room that first night, she wanted to go play toys and games - Chucky Cheese! She was quite the "little Diva" at the Hard Rock Hotel pool! She was mesmerized by the lions at MGM and really enjoyed the Rain Forest Cafe. We topped off the vacation with a trip to The Shark Reef Exhibit at Mandalay Bay. It was so exciting to experience everything through a child's eyes and to find such great family friendly things to do in such a crazy city.

First Haircut

McKayla got her 1st Haircut today at Groovy Cuts for Kids in Rockwall. They made it a very fun experience. She got to sit in a Barbie jeep and be pampered by her stylist Daisy while she watched her favorite show iCarly : ) We received a certifcate for her first haircut and a lock of her baby hair. We can't wait to go back when she is a little older and have a girls party with her friends and get mini mani pedis and play dress up!
